A 1979 graduate of the The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Gary Klein joined Stark Animal Hospital in 1987 after practicing small and large animal medicine and surgery in Florida and Colorado.

He and his wife Bette, a pediatric dietitian, have two children. Outside of work, Dr. Klein enjoy the outdoors, golfing with his son and daughter and bicycling with his wife.

Dr. Mallorie Campeau grew up in Montreal, Quebec province, Canada and currently resides in Akron, Ohio. She earned a DVM degree from the University of Montreal. Prior to joining the Stark Animal Hospital team, Dr. Campeau practiced at Saint-Lazare Veterinary Hospital and Trois-Lacs Veterinary Hospital. Her special interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, and surgery.

In her spare time, Dr. Campeau enjoys swimming, hiking, and playing piano. She also shares her home with a rescue cat named, Robert.

dr-alyson-deak-dvm-catDr. Deak has been a longtime resident of Northeastern, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University in 2012. She continued her studies at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2017. She is honored to begin her veterinary career here at Bartels Pet Hospital.

Dr. Deak has a special interest in internal medicine, especially the management of chronic and hormonal diseases. Outside of work, she enjoys being active and running, cycling, hiking and snowboarding. She also enjoys spending time with her family - she has three older brothers and a chocolate lab named Nestlé.
