Gary Klein, DVM — Chief of Staff
A 1979 graduate of the The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Gary Klein joined Stark Animal Hospital in 1987 after practicing small and large animal medicine and surgery in Florida and Colorado.
He and his wife Bette, a pediatric dietitian, have two children. Outside of work, Dr. Klein enjoy the outdoors, golfing with his son and daughter and bicycling with his wife.
Mallorie Campeau, DVM
Dr. Mallorie Campeau grew up in Montreal, Quebec province, Canada and currently resides in Akron, Ohio. She earned a DVM degree from the University of Montreal. Prior to joining the Stark Animal Hospital team, Dr. Campeau practiced at Saint-Lazare Veterinary Hospital and Trois-Lacs Veterinary Hospital. Her special interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, and surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Campeau enjoys swimming, hiking, and playing piano. She also shares her home with a rescue cat named, Robert.
Alyson Deak, DVM, Fear Free Certified
Dr. Deak is a longtime resident of Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University in 2012. She continued her studies at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2017. Dr. Deak practiced small animal medicine for two years in Northeastern, Ohio prior to joining the Stark Animal Hospital team. Dr. Deak has a special interest in internal medicine, especially the management of chronic and hormonal diseases.
Dr. Deak loves being involved in her community. While in veterinary school, she organized and sent donations to children undergoing surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She is involved in raising funds to support cancer research and participates in an annual 100-mile bike ride in Columbus.
